Matt earned his J.D., with honors, from Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2011. Following law school, he served as a law clerk to Judge Sharon L. Blackburn on the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Alabama. After his clerkship, Matt built and solidified his reputation as a skilled litigator at a large Birmingham law firm, where he represented local and national clients in a wide array of legal matters. He is licensed to practice law in Florida and Alabama.

Missing family, friends, and the Gulf Coast, Matt and his wife Mary Ann decided to move their growing family back home to Pensacola in 2019. Matt is dedicated to working tirelessly to achieve the best possible outcome for the clients he represents.
