Pensacola, FLA – August 30, 2021:  Moorhead Law Group is pleased to announce that Amelia Beard has joined the firm and been named Managing Attorney of its Santa Rosa Beach office.  “We are excited to have Amelia join our firm. Her legal expertise and dedication to serving her community reflect the values Moorhead Law is known for,” says Steve Moorhead, Founder and Managing Partner of the firm.  Her practice includes all aspects of real estate closings, transactions, and disputes; estate planning; probate; and business law.

Amelia is highly involved in the legal profession through service to The Florida Bar and local bar organizations and previously served two terms as President of the Walton County Bar Association. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Amelia worked in the mortgage industry, both in originations and servicing, and also for a non-profit community development association in Atlanta, Georgia. Her experience in the real estate and mortgage banking industry is extensive.

Amelia moved to Walton County, Florida from Atlanta after meeting her husband, a Green Beret formerly with the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and now with the 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne). They have two sons, a lab named Huck, and no free time.
